Set up your business

A complete business profile makes every invoice look professional and tells your customers how to pay you. It takes about five minutes.

  1. Company settings, with the Edit button on your company marked. Click your name at the top right and choose Company settings, then click Edit on your company.

  2. Check your Company name, and your Legal name if it is different, then fill in Address line 1, City, Region/Province, Phone and Email.

  3. Under Business logo, upload your logo. It appears at the top of your invoices.

  4. Add your CAC / RC Number and Tax Identification Number (TIN) if you have them. They print at the top of your invoices.

  5. The Edit company form, with the Bank name field under Bank details marked. Under Bank details, enter your Bank name, Account name and 10-digit Account number (NUBAN). They print on every invoice under "How to pay", with the invoice number as the payment reference. Only the business owner can see and change them.

  6. The bottom of the Edit company form, with the Save company button marked. Click Save company.

Are you VAT registered?

Click your name at the top right and choose Tax settings. Under VAT registration, answer Yes, enter your VAT registration number and click Save VAT registration. If your turnover is ₦100 million or less, you may not need to charge VAT; confirm with your accountant.

Tip: after saving, open the menu on one of your invoices and choose PDF to see how your details look to a customer.
